Bauchi Governor Commends Tinubu’s Economic Reforms, Security Efforts

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the Federal Government’s economic reforms and security measures, saying the initiatives are producing positive results in Bauchi State and across Nigeria.

Mohammed made the remarks on Monday when he received the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Taiwo Oyedele, and the Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Dr. Muhammad Ali Pate, who paid him a courtesy visit at the Government House in Bauchi.
The governor expressed the state’s support for the Federal Government’s economic policies, saying their impact is increasingly being felt by citizens.

He said residents of Bauchi State were aware of and appreciated efforts by the Federal Government to stabilise the economy and address security challenges.

Mohammed also commended what he described as improved cooperation between the Federal Government and state governments, saying such collaboration was important for achieving development across the country.

The governor further praised President Tinubu for supporting development projects without regard to political differences. He cited Bauchi and Oyo states as examples of states benefiting from federal interventions despite political differences.

On security, Mohammed commended the deployment of security personnel under the coordination of the National Security Adviser and military authorities to tackle banditry in Bauchi State.

According to the governor, the security operations have helped drive out bandits who had previously posed a threat to communities in the state.
