The Chairman of Suleja Local Government Council, Rt. Hon. Isyaku Bawa Naibi (IBN), has directed political appointees and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Suleja to remain loyal to Governor Umar Muhammad Bago's administration, warning that those unwilling to support the governor's vision should resign.
Naibi gave the directive on Monday during the inauguration of Supervisory Councillors, Special Advisers, Special Assistants and Media Aides at the Suleja Town Hall, Dawaki.
Addressing the gathering, the chairman warned APC members against making unfounded remarks against the Bago administration, stressing that while constructive criticism is welcome, actions capable of undermining the government and the party would not be tolerated.
He emphasized that Governor Bago remains the leader of the state and called on party members to support the administration's programmes and policies.
Naibi also highlighted the welfare of political office holders in the council, noting that councillors and supervisory councillors have consistently received their salaries and allowances since he assumed office nearly four years ago.
He further disclosed that the council spends about ₦8 million monthly on apprenticeship programmes aimed at youth empowerment and economic development.
The chairman commended Governor Bago for his developmental initiatives and urged residents and party faithful to continue supporting the administration.
Several party leaders at the event also called for unity and sustained support for Governor Bago's government.
Seven Supervisory Councillors were inaugurated during the ceremony alongside other political appointees.
