Vice President Kashim Shettima has urged the people of Plateau State to continue fostering peace and unity to achieve lasting development.
Shettima made the call on Saturday while attending the wedding reception of Nanbam Mutfwang, daughter of Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang, and Jeremiah Ayodele, in Jos.
Addressing guests at the ceremony, the Vice President described marriage as a symbol of unity, noting that the bonds that unite Nigerians are stronger than the differences that seek to divide them.
He prayed for God's blessings upon the newlywed couple, wishing them a peaceful, prosperous, and enduring marriage, and congratulated both families on the successful celebration.
