The management of Prestige FM Minna has announced that Adamu Idris Manarakis is no longer a staff member of the radio station and should not be associated with the organization in any official capacity.
In a statement issued in Minna, the management disclosed that Manarakis formally resigned from the station through a letter dated June 23, 2026, which was accepted by the organization.
The station said any attempt to associate Manarakis or his activities with Prestige FM is misleading and unacceptable, stressing that the organization remains committed to upholding its reputation for professionalism, integrity, objectivity, and public service built over nine years of broadcasting.
Prestige FM further stated that it has completely dissociated itself from the actions, activities, and public statements of its former employee, particularly on social media and other platforms. According to the management, the clarification became necessary following comments made by a local radio station that linked Manarakis to Prestige FM.
The management reaffirmed its commitment to ethical broadcasting, compliance with the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) Code, and the promotion of professional standards in the media industry.
Prestige FM also assured its listeners, partners, and clients across Niger State and beyond of its continued dedication to quality service and responsible journalism.
The station urged members of the public not to engage in any official transaction or business with Adamu Idris Manarakis on behalf of Prestige FM, emphasizing that he no longer represents the organization.
