A joint force of the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) Tactical Team and troops of 226 Battalion has recorded another operational success against Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists in the Kopre Mountain general area of Hong Local Government Area, Adamawa State.
The operation was carried out as the security forces intensify ongoing search and rescue operations in the area.
The 226 Battalion troops were recently deployed to Sector 4, Adamawa State, under the directive of the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu NAM.
According to the military, the latest success followed a well-coordinated joint offensive targeting the terrorists in the Kopre Mountain area.
