Habiba says she travelled to Saudi Arabia after being promised marriage and employment but is now seeking support to return to Niger State.
A woman identified as Habiba, a native of Minna, Niger State, is seeking assistance to return to Nigeria after travelling to Saudi Arabia following alleged promises of marriage and employment.
According to information made available to Lapai TV, Habiba was allegedly persuaded by a man to travel to Saudi Arabia on the understanding that he would marry her and help her secure employment.
She reportedly said that after arriving in Saudi Arabia, she discovered that the man was engaged in selling firewood in a village, while the marriage arrangement she had been promised did not materialise.
Habiba is now seeking assistance to return to Minna, but reportedly lacks the financial means to facilitate her journey home.
