Registration has officially commenced for the second edition of the Niger State 1000 Vendors Festival 2026, an entrepreneurship-driven trade fair aimed at boosting local businesses and promoting economic growth in Niger State.
The announcement was made by the Founder of Lapai Innovation Lab, Aliyu A. Kure, who described the festival as a strategic platform for entrepreneurs, innovators, and business owners to showcase their products, expand their customer base, and explore new market opportunities.
According to Kure, the event will bring together entrepreneurs, small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs), artisans, manufacturers, food vendors, fashion brands, tech startups, and service providers from across Niger State and other parts of the country.
He noted that the festival is part of the organization's ongoing efforts to strengthen entrepreneurship, create market access for businesses, and contribute to the economic development of Niger State.
Kure further disclosed that Lapai Innovation Lab has successfully organized four trade fairs in Minna, providing local businesses with opportunities to increase visibility, attract customers, and build valuable business connections.
The two-day festival, scheduled to hold on September 26 and 27, 2026, in Minna, is expected to attract thousands of visitors, making it one of the largest gatherings of entrepreneurs, vendors, and consumers in the state.
He encouraged vendors from outside Niger State to take advantage of the opportunity and participate in the festival, describing it as a unique platform to access new markets, build partnerships, and expand their business reach within the North-Central region and beyond.
The founder also called on corporate organizations, development partners, financial institutions, government agencies, and private sector stakeholders to support the initiative through sponsorship and strategic partnerships.
According to him, such collaborations will not only enhance the success of the festival but also help create sustainable opportunities for small businesses, youth entrepreneurs, and emerging enterprises across Niger State.
Interested vendors, sponsors, and partners have been encouraged to register and engage early as preparations for the event gather momentum.
