Ex-Jobs Creation DG Umar Muhammad Named Niger Coordinator of Renewed Hope Group

Former Agaie-Lapai House of Representatives aspirant to lead pro-Tinubu support group in Niger State

The Bridge for Renewed Hope, a pro-President Bola Ahmed Tinubu support organization, has appointed Ambassador Umar Muhammad, a former Director-General of Jobs Creation and Skills Development in Niger State, as its Niger State Coordinator.
The appointment was announced in an official letter dated June 24, 2026, signed by the Director General of the organization, Hon. Rowland Odih, and takes immediate effect.

According to the letter, the appointment was made on behalf of The Bridge for Renewed Hope and its Grand Patron, Hon. Seyi Tinubu, in recognition of Umar Muhammad's contributions to grassroots mobilization, civic engagement, and the promotion of the Renewed Hope agenda.

As State Coordinator, Umar Muhammad will oversee the organization's activities in Niger State, coordinate stakeholder engagements, manage local structures, serve as a liaison between the state and national leadership, and provide periodic reports on the group's operations.

Umar Muhammad is a prominent political figure in Niger State. He previously served as Director-General of Jobs Creation and Skills Development under the Niger State Government and was also an aspirant for the House of Representatives seat representing Agaie/Lapai Federal Constituency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The Bridge for Renewed Hope is a political support group that advocates the policies and programmes associated with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope agenda through community engagement and political mobilization nationwide.
