Mai Mala Buni has approved full sponsorship for Yobe State's delegation to the 2026 Arewa Media Summit scheduled to hold on Monday, July 6, in Kano State.
The sponsorship covers transportation, hotel accommodation, feeding, and travel allowances for 50 participants, including members of the summit's organising committees and coordinators representing the state.
According to Sheriff Almuhajir, each of Yobe's 17 local government areas will be represented by two delegates, while the remaining participants will come from the state's three senatorial districts and the state headquarters to ensure broad representation.
He said the governor's approval has taken care of all logistical arrangements, allowing the delegation to focus on effective participation at the regional media summit.
The sponsorship, he added, reflects the Yobe State Government's commitment to youth development, media advancement, and capacity building, expressing confidence that the delegation will represent the state with distinction at the summit.
