Lapai APC Begins Reconciliation Drive Two Months After Primary Election

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lapai Local Government Area of Niger State has commenced a reconciliation drive, two months after its primary election, as part of efforts to strengthen party unity ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The initiative is aimed at engaging aspirants who participated in the party's primary election and encouraging them to work together in the interest of the party ahead of future elections.
Among those visited were Hon. Abdullahi Ibn Abdulaziz, Hon. Umar Makun, and Hon. Abdullahi Mohammed Liman (Baradio), all from Arewa/Yamma Ward in Lapai Local Government Area.
Hon. Abdullahi Mohammed Liman (Baradio) and Hon. Umar Makun contested for the APC House of Representatives ticket for the Agaie/Lapai Federal Constituency, while Hon. Abdullahi Ibn Abdulaziz contested for the Niger State House of Assembly seat representing Lapai Constituency.
Party sources said the reconciliation effort is intended to promote unity among members and strengthen the APC's preparations for the 2027 general elections.
