The Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested three suspected logistics suppliers allegedly linked to the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) during a security operation in Borno State.
The suspects, identified as Fandi Adam Konto, Aji Bura Modu, and Tijjain Abubakar Aisami, were apprehended around Mainok village in Kaga Local Government Area while reportedly attempting to transport medications and other consumable items to terrorist hideouts.

According to security sources, the operation was carried out by the DSS Borno State Command in collaboration with Forest Guard operatives following actionable intelligence.

The suspects were arrested during the early hours of the operation, while the recovered items have been taken into custody for further investigation.

Authorities stated that the operation forms part of ongoing efforts to dismantle terrorist supply chains and strengthen counter-insurgency operations across Nigeria’s North-East region.

Security agencies reaffirmed their commitment to sustaining intelligence-driven operations aimed at disrupting the activities of terrorist groups and enhancing public safety in affected communities.
