The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBUL), Lapai, has commended the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Muhammad Hadi Suleiman, for securing clinical training placement for medical students of the institution.
The arrangement will enable the affected students to commence their clinical studies at Ahmadu Bello University, marking a significant milestone for the university’s College of Health Sciences.
In a statement, the SUG President, Comrade Baba Shehu, described the development as a major breakthrough that reflects the Vice-Chancellor’s commitment to academic excellence and the welfare of students.
The union also expressed appreciation to Mohammed Umar Bago for his continued support to higher education development in the state.
It further congratulated the medical students, urging them to remain focused and dedicated as they begin this new phase of their academic and professional training.
The SUG noted that the development has restored hope among students and reinforced confidence in the leadership of the university.
