Mu’awiyah Yusuf Muye, Media Adviser to the Chairman of the Nigerian Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, Senator Abubakar Sani Bello, and former APC aspirant for the House of Representatives seat representing Agaie/Lapai Federal Constituency, has delivered remarks on behalf of participants from various Belt and Road countries at Shenyang Normal University in China.
Mu’awiyah delivered the remarks during a three-week training programme at the university, which brought together participants from different Belt and Road countries for knowledge exchange, professional development and capacity building.
Addressing the university community, he expressed appreciation for the opportunity to represent participants from the various countries taking part in the programme.
He described the training as more than a technological learning experience, noting that it serves as an important platform for international knowledge exchange and collaboration.
Mu’awiyah particularly highlighted the importance of reliable and sustainable energy to developing nations, stressing that access to clean and dependable energy remains critical to economic growth and development.
He noted that strengthening energy security and embracing sustainable technologies could help Belt and Road countries unlock new opportunities and build more resilient economies.
The former Agaie/Lapai Federal Constituency House of Representatives aspirant also underscored the value of international collaboration, saying programmes such as the training provide participants with knowledge, skills and global perspectives that can contribute to development in their respective countries.
According to him, the engagement demonstrates the importance of creating platforms where professionals and emerging leaders can learn from one another and exchange ideas on solutions to shared development challenges.
Mu’awiyah’s participation at Shenyang Normal University further reflects Nigeria’s engagement in international cooperation and knowledge-sharing initiatives, while highlighting the growing importance of equipping young professionals and leaders with relevant skills for sustainable development.
