Troops of Operation Fansan Yamma have rescued the wife of retired Major General Rabe Abubakar, who was abducted alongside her husband by armed bandits.
The rescue operation was carried out after the late general reportedly died while in captivity. Security sources confirmed that his wife was successfully freed by the troops during ongoing operations against criminal elements in the region.
